How to use Apple iCloud on your Android

It is not so very hard to use Apple iCloud on Android devices. It is a very easy and free process. If you want to use Apple iCloud on your Android device, then you have to follow some steps. There is a process of doing it. But before starting the process we need something.

You need to have an existing Apple Id or need to create one. And an Android phone where you will access Apple iCloud. In this post, I am going to share how you can really run iCloud on your Android device. And I’ll be sharing the process to transfer contacts, running email from iCloud in Android. So let’s get started now.

How to use iCloud on Android

Apple iCloud can be run on Android devices easily. You have to login into iCloud.com with your existing Apple ID or create a new account. After login to iCloud, you will find the shortcuts of the iCloud app, Like Notes, Photos, Reminders, etc iCloud web app offers to manage the account you have and also tells how much storage is available for you.

When you are logged in to your iCloud account, you can be able to view, upload, download, and share photos very easily. You can also do so many things, like group your photos into albums. Hide and unhide photos as you do. And you can run many features of iCloud.

How to add an iCloud email address to Android

There can be many methods and ways to do it. But one of the simplest and easy methods to set up your iCloud email address on your Android phone by creating an app-specific password for your iCloud email address. In order to set up iCloud email on Android, you need to create an app-specific password for your iCloud email. And I’m going to describe the step-by-step process of creating it. The process has been given in the following list.

  • First, open any of the browsers in your PC/Laptop
  • Then visit applied.apple.com and log in with your Apple ID.
  • After that Go to the Security section and then click on Generate Password.
  • Now you have to enter a description for the password.
  • Just click on Create.
  • Remember the password. This password will be needed in the next process.

Now in order to add an iCloud email address to your Android phone, you have to do the following things:

  1. First of all, you have to go to your Android device Settings options and then search for Accounts.
  2. Now click on the Accounts option
  3. Then you have to click on the Add account option available at the bottom. Scroll down to reach it.
  4. Now you have to tap on the Personal (IMAP) option, which shows a Gmail logo.
  5. After that, Enter your iCloud email address there.
  6. Now just tap on the Next
  7. Enter the app-specific password which you have generated on your web browser from your PC/Laptop
  8. In the final step, just click on Next.

From now, your Apple iCloud email address will appear in the account list. You can easily access your Apple iCloud inbox in the Gmail application.
