The Process To Find Lost Mobile Device

I assume everyone uses an Android device, so I’m talking about how to track an Android phone if it’s lost or stolen or take other steps that will protect your privacy.

First, log in to Device Manager from here. As you can see in the screenshot below, you can see my Android device after going to the dashboard. I signed up for the Play Store via this specific email.

Now you have to go to Manage Active Devices by clicking on this text in Device Manager. After leaving, if your phone is online, that is, it is on, and GPS is on, you can track your phone; if your phone is lost, you can find it. And if your phone can’t be tracked, you can lock your phone, so no one else can see your phone. You can take this step.

If you have this problem, you can delete the data on your phone, then all the data on your phone will be deleted, and your content will be saved. And if you lose your phone, if you keep your phone silent, you can log in to your device manager and give your phone ringtone market command from there; if you give this command, your phone will start playing ringtone at maximum volume so that you can easily find the phone.

What If You Lost Your Phone and Didn’t Know IMEI Number?

Now, if you do these things through Device Manager, you can recover your phone. Now you have to go to the police and report to the police; now, you can’t report that if you don’t have an IMEI number.

Even if you don’t have your IMEI number, it can be easily extracted from Device Manager.
You go to your Google Dashboard, and there you will see in the Devices tab you will see the IMEI numbers of all the devices you have used so far.

Also, the phone’s IMEI number can be changed, but it is unethical in many countries according to one country’s law. In addition to changing the IMEI number, your phone must be rooted; for each phone, you have to change this number in the system. In many cases, there is a possibility of a successor, not a success.

But friends, if your phone is stolen, you can take the steps you can take through the device manager I have mentioned above, which I hope will be very useful. After taking these steps, you will need to go to the Police. Then it is up to the police to decide whether your phone can be recovered or not.
