Samsung is a famous mobile brand in the world. In this article, I’ve made a list of all Samsung water-resistant phones. I used water-resistant instead of water-proof cause it is more adaptable. Honestly speaking, no phone of Samsung is properly waterproof though it is my personal opinion, it could be wrong.
Actually, the water resistivity depends on a phone’s IP rating; IP means Ingression Protection. Ingression Protection is an internationally accepted measurement method used to measure a phone’s dust and water resistivity. Let’s check out the list of which Samsung phone is waterproof.
So far, Samsung has released a total of 14 water-resistant phones, these are, Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20+, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Note10, Samsung Galaxy Note10+, Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S10+, Samsung Galaxy Note9, Samsung Galaxy S9+, Samsung Galaxy Note8, Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. All the phones are IP68 rated. IP68 rated means the phones are completely dust resistant and potentially water-resistant.
