One UI 3.1 Features, Release Date, Device List

Samsung launched the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 custom skin with the Galaxy S21 series at the end of January 2021. It included private share features, deleting GPS location data from photos, lock screen widgets, background video calls, and Google Discovery on the home screen.

Several phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, have already received updates for this new custom OS. This one UI 3.1 update will get the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and several A series smartphones. In this article, I’ll try to give a brief description of this amazing update by Samsung.

One UI 3.1 Features

One UI 3.1 is a better and updated version of One UI 3.0. So here, you may not see any massive changes. The biggest change from this update will be the camera app. Smartphones will get the single tech feature that only comes in selected phones of the M series and S series. This feature allows users to click on a lot of photos and videos with a single click. From this, he can use any photo or video of his choice.

The second feature is the object eraser. This makes it easy to remove content you don’t want from photos. All you have to do is tap on that region or object, and it will automatically disappear from the image. Besides, the camera features Touch Autofocus and Auto Exposure Controller, allowing users to adjust focus and edit brightness easily. In addition to the camera, the phones also feature the Eye Comfort Shield. And some small changes are :

  • Multi-Mic Recording: This feature allows you to record audio and video simultaneously on your smartphone and Bluetooth device.
  • Eye Comfort Shield Mode: This allows you to control the blue light emitted from the device, which will give comfort to your eyes.
  • Private Share Feature: This feature is essential. This allows you to decide who you want to share content with and for how long.

One UI 3.1 Release Dates

One UI has started coming out to S21 and other S series phones. It has just started rolling out in flagship devices. Gradually the older S series phone will receive this update. There is no exact time and date when it will be available for you. But we expect that If you are one of the flagship holders of the Samsung smartphone, you will receive the update soon.

See the supported device list in the following heading and check your device is supported or not. Then check for updates. Wait and be patient; if your device matches with the list, you will receive the update sooner or later.

One UI 3.1 China Version Release Date

There is no specific China version Of One UI 3.1. We do not found anything called China Version. one UI was released at the end of last month. And the supported devices like S21, S20 are receiving this update from China. One UI 3.1 has more than 100+ supported languages. China is one of them. So if you use the supported device, you’ll receive the update from China soon, in case if you haven’t received it yet.

Global Version Release Date

Samsung One UI 3.1 Update released globally on 29th January 2021. But slowly, the update will be sent to the supported devices all over the world. There is no specific global update date or specific place-wise update date. We expect that all the supported phones worldwide will receive this update soon.

One UI 3.1 Beta Download

We are sorry to let you know that the beta download for 3.1 is still not available yet. We found only a 3.0 beta download available on the internet. But it may be available in the future. If we see it is available, we may try to bring it up to you. Till then, you have to be patient. And keep checking the software update section on your Samsung device.

One UI 3.1 Supported Devices

As can be seen from the list, Samsung’s other flagship smartphones are only getting updates on Samsung’s latest custom Android skin.

Initially Available Device

Samsung has launched the latest version of the custom Android skin One UI 3.1, but at present, it can only be seen on the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone. But naturally, the update will come to other smartphone models of Samsung. But it is not known when it will come, but the list of models of smartphones that are getting this update has been published online.

One UI 3.1 Unsupported Devices

One UI 3.1 won’t be available for all devices of Samsung. However, new mid-range upcoming devices of Samsung may not receive this update. This update is for the flagship holders of the Samsung smartphone group. If your current Samsung device does not match with the list of supported device section in the upper paragraph, you may not receive the One UI 3.1 Update. But be patient; if you are a flagship holder, you still have a chance to receive it. But it may take some time. You have to wait and be patient for that.
