eSIm or embedded SIM is a digitalized version of a SIM card that allows users to activate the cellular plan from their desired carrier, which the physical SIM card could. But the difference is there’s no need to have a physical SIM when a phone has the eSIM capability. I will talk about whether Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is capable of eSIM or not.
Recently Xiaomi announced there would be an eSIM facility for their smartphone, except for the old versions. For the eSIM capability, the device must run on MIUI 9.6 or later. Some of Xiaomi’s smartphones already have this feature, on a small scale, not worldwide. But there is no eSIM capability on the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime.
